I've never understood the ideology that people from different regions of the planet are somehow lesser than, simply because they look/act/sound different from what we are used to. While I recognize these differences, what truly matters is the humanity within, regardless of ethnic background. The crisis at the US/Mexico boarder sheds light on this illogical thinking. The dehumanizing practice of putting these human beings in cages is something I want to counteract through my photography. While this matter is ever so pressing in my mind, my ability to execute it has been hindered by the lack of legitimate resources to get me there. If you or someone you know can help me in executing my mission to humanize these individuals, please fill out the contact form.
